Hello, I am Asim Adhikary

I am a senior at Fordham University, studying marketing and economics, graduating this upcoming spring!

This website is my creative hub — a curated place where I share what inspires me, reflect on my passions and goals, and showcase my professional work. I’ve poured a lot of time (and love) into building it, and I hope it gives you a real sense of who I am!

What I’ve been up to:

Summer Internship @ PowerFlex

I recently completed my Summer internship in NYC with PowerFlex, a leader in renewable energy solutions like solar panels and EV chargers. The experience opened my eyes to a new industry, introduced me to incredible people, and sparked a genuine excitement for where my career could go next.

Undergraduate & Graduate Studies

I’m entering my final year at Fordham University, finishing my undergraduate degree in global business and marketing — hard to believe I’m already a senior! After graduation, I’ll continue in Fordham's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, completing my M.A. in Economics. I'm excited for what's ahead!

New York City Perseptive Project

Gaining new perspectives is something I find very valuable and at times necessary. So, whenever I am free, I interview strangers around NYC, photographing them and asking thoughtful, advice-focused questions about life. I document their stories and portraits in my notebook, and am currently working on digitizing the project so I can post it on the website!

About Me

Hi! My name is Asim Adhikary. I was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa, and moved to Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of eight.  (And yes, there are brown people in both of those places.)

If I had to describe myself in three words, they’d be: sexy, hardworking, and humble. - In that order

In my free time, you can find me watching or playing soccer, traveling, listening to music, buying things I don’t need, and — most importantly — eating. Big emphasis on the eating part.

I also love connecting with people from all sorts of backgrounds, learning about their stories, customs, and how they view the world.

I’m especially passionate about industries at the intersection of sports, music, media, and consumer brands — places where culture and creativity shape how people connect.

If you’re looking for someone who can combine strategy, creativity, and strong relationships to move ideas forward — let’s connect!

Currently Obsessed With…

SnowFall:

Such a captivating show — I can’t remember the last time I binge-watched something from start to finish. Damson Idris is a KING. The show tackles the rise of the crack epidemic in 1980s LA, caused by the CIA (allegedly), and its deep impact on black communities. If schools focused more on this type of history, a lot more Americans would understand the world we live in today.

Kitchen Confidential (Anthony Bourdain)

I’m almost done with this book, and I love it! I’ve always been a fan of Bourdain and his snarky yet endearing personality. The book is about his raw, behind-the-scenes experiences in the restaurant world — from chaotic kitchens to the unfiltered reality of chef culture. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a bold, witty, and insightful read.

Premier League:

A new season of the prem is back and better than ever. For the record, I support Manchester City — and no, I’m not a bandwagon. As for my fantasy team… let’s just say it’s a work in progress.

Hamilton:

For the past couple of years, I find myself coming back to the Hamilton soundtrack — playing it front to back for days on end. I’ve always been a lyric-driven listener, and what I love most is how each replay reveals something new for me to interpret. I guess you could say I’m in my annual Hamilton phase right now, and I’m not complaining.

In case you can’t get enough of me
